Lurking in the Hollers - James Andrew Dellinger and Tommy M. Griffin

During the first season of Murder Comes to Town, "Lurking in the Hollers" is the story of the murder of Tommy M. Griffin. The convicted killer was James Andrew Dellinger. Mr. Dellinger has been sentenced to death by electrocution.  His accomplice and nephew, Gary Wayne Sutton, was also sentenced to death. He has filed many appeals and each have been denied.

Tommy Wayne Gifford was 25 at the time of his death. Dellinger was

already serving a life sentence for a separate unrelated murder at the time of his arrest, resulting in the death sentence.

James Andrew Dellinger is currently incarcerated in the state of Tennessee.
